Steve Madden has this hgher end line called STEVEN, the shoes are edgy and designed for more of a frugal fashionista that wants the Dior Addict look without the price.  Nude cut out booties, get over yourself, I tried these on and they make your legs look mile high, the nude color and the 4.25 heel height help and they looked really good with a bright yellow Rachel Pally dress I just got too.  Going to be sporting these around in the summer time:)

A flat thong O-ring thong red patent sandal from one of my favorite brands.  Rock & Republic makes great jeans but I really love their shoes!  Needless to say, who pays almost 200.00/pair for a flip flop sandal??? Not me:)  So when I saw these on one of the sale sites, I had to have them.  They are going to be perfect with a black shift dress or a blk/wht gingham sundress for that Palm Beach Jackie O look in the summer.  What keeps them from looking to sweet is the metal studs...did I mention I love this brand!!!! It's the unexpected details like studs that make it so fresh and current.

So my heart's desire is a pair of FRYE boots, but till I can get myself to plunk down 300-500 bucks for them this pair will have to do.  This is chunky heeled black suede pull on boot with a rounded toe.  So comfy and it has that really cool 70's FRYE vibe without the FRYE price. They look awesome with a sweater dress or a denim skirt for that "Boho chic I follow the LA  music scene look":)

Last week a good friend of mine rocked some over the knee flat boots to work...I've been reisisting this style for awhile now b/c of the whole Julia Roberts/Pretty Woman thing and I did rock a pair of these back in the club days circa 1990 with some hot pants so I did not want to revisit the trend, but, the way she wore them, tights, a tunic top, jacket and leggings looked so fresh and current that I went and ordered a pair this past weekend:)  I'll be wearing these to work with a tunic top and leggings as well....good to know that my thighs can still handle an over the knee style;)  Oh, my buddy scored an awesome deal on her pair at one of the sale sites but I got these for 1/4 of what she paid, the leather is nice, not as soft as hers, but for a trendy boot, these will do...BTW, you can scrunch them down or cuff them too.
